Die casting mold is a special tool for casting liquid metal into mold cavity during die casting production. It consists of a mold closing device, a molding part and a discharging part .

Mold closing device:

The function of the clamping device is to accurately inject molten metal into the cavity of the die casting machine. There are two kinds of commonly used mechanical clamping device and hydraulic clamping device.

1 Mechanical clamping system:

1 Locking nut: used to lock the bolts of movable formwork or fixed formwork to prevent movement when starting the machine; When the machine is stopped or overhauled, loosen the nut to reset the template.

2 Ejector bar: used to support the movable formwork.

3 Guide plate: used to support the movable template and guide the molten metal into the cavity.

4 Pushing block: used to push the fixed template to slide along the slide rail;

5 Pulling block: used to pull the fixed template to slide along the slide rail;

6 Stop block: used to block the molten metal flowing out of the chute;

7 Check valve (also known as safety valve): It is used to prevent the backflow of high-pressure gas from damaging the parts and personnel.

8 Spring collet: 1 is used to clamp the locating pin; 2 Used as limit switch; 3 as spring washer; 4 as sealing element; 5 Used as oil leak proof gasket; 6 Used as buffer material, etc.

2 Hydraulic system:

1 Pressure gauge and pressure regulator:

It is used to indicate the size of working pressure and adjust the fluctuation range of working pressure; At the same time, the opening of the relief valve can be controlled to adjust the flow of the system, so as to ensure the surface finish and dimensional accuracy of the die castings.

2 Solenoid directional valve:

Used to change the flow direction of liquid flow.

3 Check valve:

Used to prevent reverse flow of liquid.
